Advanced Dental Technology for Exceptional Patient Care
We take care of our patients by providing services with innovative dental technologies and equipment. From digital X-rays to the Tekscan system, we make sure our patients receive a high level of quality care during every visit. Whether you are coming in for general dentistry services, mercury-free fillings, or root canal therapy, we are here to make sure you receive the treatment you need.
Early detection of cavities is essential for your oral health. We can detect and find cavities using the innovative DIAGNOdent laser diode. The laser provides an accurate digital readout to detect tooth decay before it becomes a serious problem.
Advancements in dental technology allows us to take digital x-rays of the mouth to produce high-quality images of the teeth and gums. You’ll get to see the images right away and this process can shorten your appointment time.
We can perform a fast and accurate diagnosis with the intraoral camera. The camera can identify underlying dental issues easily and produces very clear digital images of your teeth and gums.
Also known as T-scan, the Tekscan system helps us diagnose any bite problems digitally. The device uses an ultra-thin sensor to detect bite timing and force in various parts of the mouth. This helps us correct bite issues right away.
Computer aided analysis displays how teeth contact each other and at what force. If needed, Dr. Clark adjusts your bite by reshaping the chewing surfaces of your teeth. For the health of your mouth, it is important that your teeth come together properly when you chew and bite.
If you are experiencing pain when chewing, jaw joint pain, a toothache and headaches, call our office to schedule a computer aided bite analysis with Dr. Clark.
If you have been diagnosed with bruxism and need to wear a night guard, we may recommend the NTI appliance to correct the problem. Unlike traditional nightguards, the NTI appliance is fitted without the need for taking impressions or molds of your teeth. The appliance snaps into place on top of your teeth and is easy to remove.
Lasers help us treat conditions in the mouth using light energy. The laser is very selective, penetrating to a specific depth in the particular kind of tissue we want to treat. There are different kinds of dental lasers and we use them to treat different kinds of dental issues. We can use lasers on soft tissues, like gums on hard tissues, like teeth and bone.
We may use the lasers on soft tissues to reshape healthy gum tissues or remove diseased gums, decontaminate gum pockets that are infected with periodontal disease and treat sine sores in the mouth. We can also use lasers on hard tissues to remove tooth decay and prepare teeth for sealants, bonding, fillings and other restorations; perform root canal therapy/ reshape bone and treat sensitive teeth.
